DESCRIPTION:
Proposal to site, construct, and operate a 48-inch natural gas pipeline (±44 miles), aboveground pipeline facilities, and temporary and permanent access roads to provide 1.9 bcf/day of natural gas to Venture Global’s CP2 LNG Terminal. Approx. 1,216,373 cubic yards of native material will be excavated and placed on site. Approx. 474,521 cubic yards of non-native fill materials will be required.
Interested parties are hereby notified that in accordance with LAC Title 43, Chapter 7, §723.C.6 the Office of Permitting and Compliance (OPC) of the Department of Conservation and Energy received a request for a Public Hearing concerning the Marais Pipeline, LLC application for Coastal Use Permit P20250262. Interested parties are hereby notified that a Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury Meeting Room, 1015 Pithon St., Lake Charles, LA 70602.
