  6. Comments/Objections on Permit Applications of State Concern (Subject to strict compliance with clean-up and restoration standards found in Sections 701(B), 711(F), and 719(M) of the Coastal Use Guidelines and any other applicable guidelines in the CZM):
    1. Louisiana DOTD – Muria Road, Little Chenier, (proposes to replace the bridge along Muria Road. In addition, portion of Muria Road near the bridge will undergo a mill and overlay, which will result in a new asphalt surface. The existing bridge to be replaced is a two-span, 38-foot concrete slab structure supported by timber and wood piles that crosses the Little Chenier Bayou.     2. BP America Production Company (BPAPC) – Grand Chenier, Latitude 29°45’56.03″, Longitude -92°42’29.05″, (Miami Alternatives – BP Debris Removal; proposes to conduct removal of historical oil and gas related debris such as pilings, pipes, wooden bulkheads/structures, and concrete pad materials on select portions of the Miami Alternatives, LLC property located within South Pecan Lake and Little Pecan Lake Oil and Gas Fields.) Manta Ray Gathering Company, LLC – South side of Mermentau River Road, Latitude 29°46’30.45″, Longitude -92°59’56”, (proposes five (5) anomaly repair sites, installation of a new pig launcher with pipe supports on an existing 30″ pipeline, and one (1) soil boring and one (1) cone penetration test (CPT).) Patrick Leger – 2116 Egret Street, Holly Beach, (proposes to restore residential property above 5-foot contour by placing hauled-in sand material within washout area caused by severe hurricane/storms for future homesite.     5. Romero Landfill, LLC – 690 Middle Ridge Road, Johnson Bayou, (proposes to backfill and restore an existing borrow area. Project will be completed by using sod and high organic topsoil generated from area LNG projects to create a large storm surge protection area for livestock and related equipment.)   7. Motion to Approve Permit Applications of Local Concern (Subject to strict compliance with the clean-up and restoration standards found in Sections 701(B), 711(F), and 719(M) of the Coastal Use Guidelines and any other applicable guidelines in the CZM):
    1. Love Kayode – 133 Bobbies Lane, Cameron, (proposes to develop 48 recreational vehicle spots for rental within the northeast portion of the property, to include installation of gravel, access driveway, sewer, water, and electrical.     3. Kelly Courville – 123 Maple Street, Cameron, (proposes to develop 20 recreational spaces for rental with installation of gravel, access driveway, sewer, water, and electrical.   10. Motion to open public hearing on the proposed change to the Cameron Parish Ordinances:Chapter 20 – Special Districts; Section 20-453 – Governing Authority (B)CHANGE TO:

    (b) The governing authority of Cameron Parish shall appoint a resident from each of the six wards who is a qualified elector of the parish and one member at large who is a resident of the parish, and who shall be nominated by the Sheriff of Cameron Parish. Each member shall serve at the pleasure of the governing authority of the parish.

  11. Consideration of approval of the proposed change to the Cameron Parish Code of Ordinance as listed above.
